Mr Rune Martini
President & CEO

Prior to employment at Simtronics, Mr Martini was a CEO of Siemens Building Technologies AS. He has extensive experience in international business development and change management working as Executive Vice President responsible for Global Sales & Distribution in Xantic BV (Netherlands) and as Group Vice President and CEO in Sec Tec Inc. (USA) - an American company owned by Visma Marine ASA. Before that, he was employed as Managing Director in Geco Defence AS, a subsidiary of Schlumberger - an oilfield service company. Mr Martini graduated from the Naval Academy, faculty of economics and business administration with a Bachelor's degree and he received his Master Degree in strategic management at Oslo Business School (BI).

Mr Frode Arnesen
CFO

Before joining Simtronics, Mr Frode Arnesen held the title Director of Business Administration with Siemens AS, division Automation & Drives. He has held various managerial positions with Siemens and Fujitsu Siemens Computers for 12 years and has also a background as an army officer. Mr Arnesen holds a degree in business administration from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration and is also a graduate from the Norwegian Army War College.

Mr Claus Fossum
Executive Vice President
Head, Detection systems division

Mr. Fossum started working in Simrad Optronics' Fire & Gas division in 2005 as Senior VP Sales and Marketing, later appointed responsible for Business Development and Marketing in Simtronics ASA group until taking over the Detection systems division in October 2009. He has previous experience from international business consultancy in Norscan Partners AS and 15 years in Scancem International, a leading international cement producer. Being CEO of a cement plant in Togo, West Africa; he was later appointed responsible for Scancem’s activities in French-speaking countries in Africa. Before joining Scancem, Mr Fossum worked 6 years with DNV in Norway, Singapore and Japan. Mr. Fossum holds an MBA from Ecole des HEC, Université de Lausanne, Switzerland and a second MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management, Arizona, USA.

Mr Torbjørn Laursen
General Manager, Fire Eater A/S

Mr. Laursen has worked more than 25 years in Fire Eater and since 2000 as Managing Director. Studies and extensive knowledge about fire extinguishing, chemistry, mechanical engineering and respiratory physiology has led to the development of INERGEN and the first 300 Bar system in the market. In 1989 Mr. Laursen completed the Fire Chief education, giving a broad theoretical and practical background very useful for running a business specialised in fire safety. As the Danish representative in Eurofeu and chairman of the Fixed extinguishing systems section of DS and SikkerhedsBranchen, Mr. Laursen has a very broad national and international network in the fire safety community, and he is often used as technical expert in committees and conferences.

Mr Kjetil Kleven
Managing Director, Water Mist Engineering AS

Mr. Kleven has prior to his engagement as Managing Director in Water Mist Engineering AS worked as Business Development Manager in Båtservice Offshore Verft AS. He has held various management positions in Aker Solutions, Aker MH (former Maritime Hydraulics) for 11 years.

Mr. Kleven has also been working as management consultant at National Institute of Technology. During his period in both Båtservice and Aker, he has been working extensively with international business development, especially in Asia. He has also been global responsible for all yard related commissioning work for Aker MH. This also included building legal business units in Asian countries.

Mr Kleven has also broad experience in HSE & Quality management, including safety discipline work in offshore projects. Mr. Kleven holds a M. Sc. degree from Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
