Mr Rune Martini
Managing Director, Simtronics AS

Prior to employment at Simtronics, Mr Martini was a CEO of Siemens Building Technologies AS. He has extensive experience in international business development and change management working as Executive Vice President responsible for Global Sales & Distribution in Xantic BV (Netherlands) and as Group Vice President and CEO in Sec Tec Inc. (USA) - an American company owned by Visma Marine ASA. Before that, he was employed as Managing Director in Geco Defence AS, a subsidiary of Schlumberger - an oilfield service company. Mr Martini graduated from the Naval Academy, faculty of economics and business administration with a Bachelor's degree and he received his Master Degree in strategic management at Oslo Business School (BI).



Dr Eliot Sizeland

Sales Director, Simtronics AS

Prior to employment at Simtronics, Dr Sizeland was Marketing Manager of Groveley Detection Ltd, the Simtronics UK distributor. His association with the Simtronics infrared gas detectors goes back to April 2000. Prior to this he worked for Det-Tronics as the Marketing Manager for Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Dr Sizeland graduated from the University of Wales, Swansea, Faculty of Engineering with a Bachelor’s degree and received his PhD working with semiconductor gas sensors at the University of Southampton. He is also a Chartered Engineer and member of the UK Institute of Measurement and Control.

 

Mr Salvator La Piana
General Manager, Simtronics SAS

Mr Lapiana is a graduate of D.U.T Génie électrique et informatique industrielle of the I.U.T of Grenoble. He has experience in industrial environment in the field of gas detection and instrumentation. During several years he has had various positions as project manager with technical and financial responsibility of major projects.



Dr Nicolas Uschanoff

R&D Manager, Simtronics SAS

Dr Nicolas Uschanoff has been working for Simtronics for over 12 years, starting as an R&D optical engineer for infrared gas detectors development. He was appointed as R&D manager in 1999 and has been a member of the Simtronic SAS management board since 2004. Graduated with a High School diploma in Technical Drawing & Machining, he then pursued on his education in Physics at the University of Grenoble, resulting in a PhD in Physic Optics, working on very high sensitivity intra-cavity laser absorption spectroscopy.
